Historic Charlestown...Katie and Kyle's Wedding

Since designing the save the dates for Katie and Kyle's March wedding I've been waiting patiently to see their wedding pictures by Katie Noble of Katie Noble Weddings. You can see where it began in their Charlestown engagement shoot HERE. The early images that photographer Katie Noble captures were taken where the couple lives in Charlestown and where they were married at Saint Mary-Saint Catherine of Siena Parish. The images not only capture the early part of their wedding but little bits of history too. In the background of a lot of the photos you can see the houses, sidewalks and streets that make Charlestown so unique and unlike any other neighborhood in Boston.

Katie wanted a soft palette for her wedding invitations, very similar to the colors chosen for her bridesmaids dresses. I created a custom logo for them which was used throughout the wedding, rehearsal dinner, wedding signage, table numbers and place card tags. White, soft pink and a light taupe was our jumping off point for the design. Katie chose to do a single flat invitation with a paisley pattern on the back. Both the invitation and response card were paired with a soft pink shimmery envelope, completing the look nicely. When it came to the rehearsal invites I used one of my favorite styles...the TWIST card paired with the same soft pink shimmery envelope!

Katie's dress was simply STUNNING and her stylish lace shrug and muted sparkly accessories completed the look!

One of my favorite moments is when a photographer captures the "first look" of when couples see each other....nothing but LOVE here!

Love that Father James Ronan was in the neighbor and stopped by for a photo!

I am a definite dog lover and fan of "pets in the wedding"! This little lady not only made the engagement shoot but also the wedding!

While walking through the neighbor why not stop for a quick beer at the historic Warren Tavern, after all George Washington and Paul Revere did!

This city wedding continued further into Boston to the historic Omni Parker House for an evening of dinner, dancing and celebrating.

Katie had me create a custom "LOVE" sign that was strung across the front of their table. For the table numbers we used a folded card in the paisley print, the number was hand embellished with pink glitter to give each table a little sparkle. The custom escort cards that matched the overall invitation design were attached to the wedding favors completing the look!

Thank you to Katie and Kyle for letting me be a part of your day, I wish you all the happiest in the world! To photographer Katie Noble thank you for allowing me to showcase your images on my blog and for doing an incredible job at capturing more than just a wedding, I am forever a fan of your work!
