Sabrina and Jesse were so relaxed about their wedding and the nicest couple to work with. We began the invitation process while they still lived in Massachusetts but not just 2 weeks later they had already settled into their new home in New Jersey. Nothing like moving, planning a destination wedding, starting new jobs ALL while awaiting the results from the Bar Exam Jesse had just finished taking...SERIOUSLY this couple was cool as a cucumber!
If you received their invitation you may have first thought it was plain as the entire exterior was just a pretty textured white but once you opened inside is where the surprise is revealed. I love reversing pattern card stocks because it always adds an extra bit of excitement.
My most favorite item I designed for the couple was their welcome card for their guests...it acted as a door hanger for the hotel room but also as the itinerary of the days events. Even the bridal party received their own customized itineraries so the girls knew when they were needed for hair and make-up and the guys knew when it was time for dressing and pictures...BRILLIANT!
I love how everything turned out but was over the moon when I received a post card today from Sabrina and Jesse thanking me for my part in their special day but also sharing the web address to view the a clip from their day...all I can say is AMAZING wait until you see the REAL flamingos walking in the background...there is even a quick shot of their wedding program that was actually a fan for guest to use.
