I was thrilled to design this Save the Date for Katie and Kyle's upcoming March wedding and thanks to their TALENTED photographer Katie Noble of Katie Noble Photo I had so many great images to choose from! Those of us that live in Boston are super lucky we have countless spots for taking photographs, the waterfront has always been a favorite spot of mine BUT now it's Charleston. I truly loved how the design came out but honestly the photos are what made it that much better.

My initial idea was to use this image below but in the end the others worked better with the overall design. That being said I LOVED it so wanted it showcased regardless...kudos to Katie Noble for having a great eye!

It's not "Just an Envelope"

Whether you are picking out Wedding Invitations, Announcements or your Holiday Cards most people do not put much thought into the "envelope" but you should. The envelope can be the first glimpse into what is inside, a little sneak peak of what's to come. There are many fun options out there on the market so I thought I would share a few with you!

The Embosser is a great investment that can be used over and over again. A metal plate is made with your address and chosen design. The device is hand held so it is very convenient to use on all envelopes (shimmer, matte or colored). This is an excellent gift to give at a Wedding Shower as the couple can use on their invitations and thank you notes. You will find plenty of formal, whimsical, and seasonal designs as well as monograms.

The Self-Inking Stamp is also a great investment and because it is self-inking you never have to worry about messy stamp pads. Like the embosser they are available with your monogram or you can add a design element to it. These self-inking stamps come with black ink and look stylish and elegant on any color envelope.

 
Custom Sticker Labels have truly come a long way from your typical matte white rectangular address label with black text. You can now order labels with trendy designs or customized your own design. Most of the labels available now come is fun shapes, are longer and can be used to wrap around your envelope adding a pretty design element to the envelope.
